About Lisa Tichenor

Lisa’s passion for real estate is deeply rooted in her family’s four-generation legacy of homebuilding and design. Her great-grandparents immigrated from Italy and began building homes in Southern California, setting the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of craftsmanship, architecture, and community. Her father, a builder, taught her early on that the scent of sawdust is the best kind of perfume — and it’s been part of her story ever since.

 

With over 20 years of experience representing East Bay buyers and sellers, Lisa has built an exceptional, referral-based business grounded in local expertise, thoughtful strategy, and genuine connection. Her extensive knowledge of the region’s micro-markets, combined with a passion for design and detail, allows her to deliver an elevated experience — one defined by trust, excellence, and results.

 

A Walnut Creek native, Lisa grew up in a 1930's farmhouse along the Cherry Lane corridor. She attended Las Lomas High School and earned her B.A. in Strategic Communications from Saint Mary’s College of California. Before real estate, Lisa enjoyed a dynamic career as a professional dancer and instructor for the National Cheerleading Association, and later as a journalist for KTVU Channel 2 and NBC Bay Area. During her time in journalism, she covered some of the most high-profile stories of the time, including 9/11 family interviews, the Scott Peterson murder trial, Barry Bonds’ #73 Home Run Ball trial, and the San Francisco dog mauling case.

 

Lisa entered the world of real estate in 2005 with Coldwell Banker, where she was named Rookie of the Year and helped launch one of the Bay Area’s first top-producing teams, led by Julie Dudum DelSanto. Since 2010, she has been a leading REALTOR® with Dudum Real Estate Group, consistently ranking among the top 10% of agents in Contra Costa County and achieving over $400 million in closed transactions.

 

Beyond real estate, Lisa is a devoted mother to two daughters who values time with her extended family (who all live in the Bay Area!). She enjoys dancing, hiking, reading, and indulging her passion for interior design, construction and architecture.
